Historically, the art world has been an expensive and exclusive space. In this body of work, I chose to explore subjects traditionally associated with luxury or elitism but rendered with materials that are typically seen as humble. The subjects themselves share modest origins and are all connected by one of the most commodified resources of all: water. Through this contrast, I aim to challenge perceptions of value, highlighting the tension between accessibility and exclusivity in both art and society.
